I’ve been creating immersive audio drama podcast’s for four years, and have edited and sound designed over hundreds of hours of audio. But my skills go past that, I also do graphic design, and video editing! Here' you’ll find clips I’m particularly proud of, as well as some audio pre- and post-editing, and other examples of my work!

Or, you can see my full portfolio here!

Lake Clarity Sample

This is a sample I’m very proud of! After two successful seasons of my inaugural podcast, and over a million downloads worldwide, I wrote, directed, and designed a teaser for our third season.

Of Note: This involves an over 12 different layers of sound design, from the hum of electronics in a room, to the various working bits of a portal opening!

Mastering

In mid-2019 Himalaya, a podcast provider, hired me to edit and sound design an “enhanced audiobook.” This process involved editing actor performance to an agreed upon script, mastering that audio, removing background noise, and leveling the audio to meet radio broadcast standards, before finally adding in contextual sound design and appropriate music sourced from a sound library. This audio book is set to debut in early 2020.

Process

When working with client audio, I always keep multiple backups of any raw audio they deliver on both a digital and physical storage. I then go through and master the audio, remove background noise, edit out flubs, stitch together sentences, and pick actor takes that best fit the script’s needs. Once the audio has been fully edited, I go back through and add sound effects, music, and if necessary, pan audio to create a more immersive 3D sound scape.

My Work

I’m proud to say my audio dramas have fostered a strong community of fans. With over 100,000 downloads a month, my community is very active and consistently engaging with my podcasts. Below, you’ll find the full feeds for my newest show, and my first show!

SCP Archives premiered earlier this year as a weekly anthology show. Each week we look at a new monster that has been captured and contained by a mysterious government agency, known only as “The Foundation.” I act as the showrunner on SCP Archives, responsible for selecting scripts, casting, collaborating with a composer, and most importantly, sound designing each episode.

Himalaya commissioned me to edit and sound design their inaugural audio fiction narrative, “Kisses from Death.” This detail oriented job required close adhesion to deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously, recieving and implementing notes, and close collaboration with talent and producers.

Graphic Design

Over the last year I’ve created fifty different images to promote the podcast SCP Archives. The show is about strange paranormal things- Something I set out to reflect in all of our merch. Whether it’s a secret mountain base, an ever-stretching and empty road, or a monster to beware, these designs were created for our patrons, and each month they’d vote on one of three designs to be turned into a postcard! Here are some of our winners, and a few losers that I’m fond of!

The bottom right photo is of course, our postcard back! Where we’d hand write a personalized message to each patron! (Currently about 250 people!)

Animation

Though I don’t get to flex this creative muscle as often as I like- I love doing simple animations to promote things! First you’ll find two examples of content made to promote the podcast, SCP Archives!

A newer animation teasing my new show SCP Archives, and announcing a collaboration with Bloody-Digsuting.com (The leading provider of Horror news)

A video I created to act within the universe of my show, SCP Archives. This story is about a “cursed” VHS of Reagan giving a strange address…
